YLRRR, Yorba Linda Residents for Responsible Representation, would like you to think they are a large organization who represents the people of Yorba Linda. The fact is they are financed by ten people who loaned or contributed money to the group with the balance coming from garage sales put on by the same people. One is John Anderson’s campaign treasurer. One is the President of the Yorba Linda Country Riders who wants the city to build a multi-million dollar horse facility.
This group is using their money to purchase newspaper ads and mailers to smear Councilwoman Jan Horton’s record and reputation. Click her for more
YLRRR supports John Anderson and Tom Lindsey. Anderson and Lindsey claim they are not responsible for the smear campaign but neither one has denounced YLRRR for using these underhanded and deceptive tactics. This shows a lack of ethics, honesty and transparency on their part.
Below is the latest finance data from YLRRR’s own FPPC 460 campaign finance forms submitted through 10/27/2010 by their campaign treasurer Josefina Sioson.

$12k. That’s a lot of hate.
Bravo. Nice recap.
So what you are saying is Anderson IS the YLRRR.
And since when does a ‘garage sale’ make $5,700?
Something very wrong, illegal and CREEPY is going on here.
Anderson is a corrupt idiot.
The FPPC requires a candidate or PAC to report the items donated to the garage sale as non-monetary contributions on FPPC Form 460 Schedule C. The proceeds are reported on Form 460 Schedule I and only itemized if the amount is $100 or more. YLRRR reported each garage sale as a lump sum without any detail. I agree that making $2,684 and $3,126 at individual garage sales does seem fishy.
As for Anderson, he is not YLRRR but he is closely associated with the fourteen people mentioned. He was introduced to YLRRR in 2006 by his close friend Jeff Winter. His campaign treasurer Matt Guptil is a YLRRR board member. The Anderson/Linsey campaigns have been closely coordinated with YLRRR’s smear campaign. The first YLRRR smear mailer was sent on the same day as the Anderson/Lindsey mailer, from the same mail house, with the same postal permit number. I suppose that was only coincidental. Anderson and Lindsey deny any connection.
Brenda, you are so right. Unfortunately, this is the mentality of YLRRR & their followers/affiliates. Rather than engaging in intelligent, civil dialog over issues upon which they disagree with you, they react with hatred and engage in vile misrepresentations and mischaracterizations. Is this really the type of people we want having control over our beautiful city?
